One Room Challenge: Week 4

We are in week 4 of the One Room Challenge and the doubt has kicked in about some of the design plan. As a designer, I am confident in my client projects, but WOW is it ever a different game when it’s for myself.

More specifically, I am talking about the paint colour. We put on two coats of Benjamin Moore’s Guacamole and I am seriously contemplating starting over with a totally new colour. Don’t get me wrong, Guacamole is a beautiful colour, but it’s not giving me those zen vibes I so badly need from a bedroom space. You feel me?

Below is a peek at the new wall colour paired with the new lamps. I do think it’s a cool combo….

AND here’s what I am thinking for new paint options…

I told you it was a whole new colour. Am I overthinking this paint situation?! Help a girl out!

WHAT’S LEFT TO DO:

  • re-paint?

  • re-install baseboard

  • make headboard

  • install ceiling light

  • DIY mirror

  • build bed

There are two weeks left, but I think we are in good shape!
