Current Obsession: Pink + Green

Lately I’ve found myself drawn to a pink and green colour combination. Whether it be a soft pale pink or a hot pink paired with an emerald green or even a sea foam green, the contrast can be absolutely killer. With a quick Google search of ‘pink & green’ is was apparent that this colour combo doesn’t always work, but with the right space, right pieces and right textures, it can be something pretty special.

As usual her layers & textures, vintage pieces and use of colour make this space both cool and unique. I love how she used different shades of pink and green without being matchy – the rug and stained glass window pulls it all together.

As one of the most Instagrammed restaurants, London’s Sketch is bang on when it comes to design thanks to Paris based architect and designer India Mahdavi . I could stare at pictures of the space all day errrr day. With the soft pink velvet custom seating, herringbone floor with hints of mint, touches of gold and artwork by David Shrigley, the space couldn’t be more perfect.

firecracker-3You don’t have to force a cocktail in my hand especially when it looks this pretty. I bet this watermelon, lime, cucumber concoction  tastes as good as it looks.

cactus-art-1Coral paired with a bold green is colour mixing at it’s very best. This DIY photo transfer art is cool as shit which I am definitely saving for a rainy day.

Studio-Pepe-Palm-spring-Andrea-Ferrari-1I’m totally digging the Miami retro vibe of this space designed for Elle Decor Italy. The coral and sea foam colours and patterns gives the space a modern edge while the furniture and details are reminiscent of past decades.

Tropical-Dinner-Party5-600x900I sure do love me some fun party decor. Throw in a bold colour palette, palms and pineapples and you have me sold.e21e6065dd4d33c3d9074bec9fee7b81I’m a sucker for simple and effective styling. Coral, green and sea foam accents play up the products to perfection.

  1. This is exactly the colour combination I’m working on for my master bedroom. I finally purchased the fabric to make the pillow covers and they are almost done. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect area carpet and trying to find the budget for the art that I found, that I now must have to pull it all together. Accent wall is already painted green and bedding is purchased. I need to finish it before my colour obsession changes (again)!
